The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has said that 145 people were killed on Sunday in airstrikes carried out by regime forces and in clashes across Syria.
“Some 30 members of the Islamic State militant group [Daesh] were killed as a result of shelling and clashes with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, east of the Euphrates River, following an attack carried out by the militant group,” the watchdog said, adding that at least three fighters from the Syria Democratic Forces were killed in the same clashes.
Meanwhile, 17 fighters from Islamic factions were killed during shelling and clashes with regime forces and militants loyal to them on the Castello road and the surrounding areas in Aleppo.
At least 18 members of the regime’s forces were killed after clashes with Daesh and Al-Nusra Front.
The Observatory said that regime warplanes launched at least have six raids on al-Mayser neighbourhood of Aleppo, killing one person and injuring more. Regime warplanes also bombed the town of Huraytan in the Aleppo countryside.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Democratic Forces continue trying to control the city of Manbej, north-east of Aleppo.
