Iraqi PM orders targeting of Daesh inside Syria

Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi announced on Friday that he has issued orders to launch military strikes against Daesh inside Syria, Moheet.com has reported.“We have sent our air force to carry out strikes on Daesh positions in the cities of Albukamal and Hosaiba inside Syrian territory,” said Al-Abadi.

Local television reported that the prime minister is blaming Daesh for the latest bombings in Baghdad which have killed dozens of civilians. “We are determined to chase terrorism that tries to kill our people and citizens wherever it exists,” Al-Abadi declared. The aerial offensive against Daesh has already started, he added, “with amazing success.”Albukamal is located on the Euphrates in Deir El-Zor Province in Syria; Hosaiba is located near the Syrian border with Iraq.
