The Joint Libya Revolutionaries Operations Chamber has announced that it will fight against anyone attempting to steal oil and other resources from the country, Moheet.com reported on Sunday.

In a statement signed by its commander, Imad al-Tarabulsi, the group said that it is ready to carry out any mission ordered by the legitimate departments of the Libyan State represented by the temporary government and parliament. The statement added that it is ready to go into battle against anyone who supports or supplies those forces which carry out “oppressive aggression” in the oil crescent. “Practical, not verbal” action will be taken, it warned.

The announcement was made following a series of attacks on the oil crescent “by the alliances of evil and oppression powers” which “are illegitimate and carry out the agendas of other countries in order to cause sedition in Libya and divide it,” the statement concluded.
