Some 311 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the start of the Jerusalem Intifada in October 2015, 83 of them were under the age of 18, according to the Documentation Center of the Palestine Liberation Organisation.
In its report, Al-Hourani Centre for Studies and Documentation said the latest victim was 23-year-old Moutaz Hilal Bani Shamsa who was shot by an Israeli settler yesterday near Nablus.

The youngest child killed was Ramadan Mohammed Thawabta who was three months old when he suffocated to death after Israeli forces fired tear gas on his town of Beit Fajjar in occupied Bethlehem.According to the centre, 28 women have been killed, including 10 minors.

According to human rights organisations and eyewitnesses, the Israeli army has executed dozens of Palestinians, including children, under the pretext of attempting to stab Israeli occupation forces.According to statistics obtained by the Anadolu Agency from the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, 6,440 Palestinians were arrested in 2016, while 1,597 have been arrested so far this year.The prisoners’ club pointed out that the number of detainees reached 6,500 detainees in Israeli prisons, including 51 women, 300 children and 500 administrative detainees.Administrative detention is detention without trial or charge.
