The Stop Arming Israel campaign group held a demonstration outside an arms company that supplies weapons to Israel today.

The campaign group is protesting outside Ferranti Factory based in Oldham, which is owned by the Israeli arms company Elbit.

The campaign group’s week-long demonstrations, which will end on Friday, are aimed at raising awareness of the transfer of arms to support Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine. Banks, including the UK-based HSBC, hold shares and provide structured loans to arms companies supplying military equipment to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone, activists have said.
