Saudi Arabia has allowed the Qatari officials who used to serve in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)’s Secretariat General to return to the kingdom.
The decision came after a month of a joint move by the Kingdom, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt to sever ties with Qatar over accusations that the Gulf state is “supporting terrorism”. Charges Doha vehemently denies.
“The situation will not return as it was on one day,” the CEO of the Qatar National Broadband Network (Qnbn), Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, wrote on Twitter.

“It is necessary to have a gradual return otherwise politicians will lose the respect of their people,” he added.
