Israeli authorities have ordered 23 demolition orders Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the Bedouin Al-Fahidat located in the east of Jerusalem’s village of Anata, as they plan to demolish the village’s homes and structures.
Younis Al-Fahidat, resident of the neighbourhood, told Quds Press that the occupation forces have informed them that the demolition will be carried out for “military purposes”, adding that they gave them three days to completely evacuate the homes.
Al-Fahidat currently accommodates 60 Palestinians, the majority children. The neighbourhood’s residents have been living there for decades, according to local sources.
