Kuwait, Turkey sign six agreements in various fields

Turkey and Kuwait signed six agreements covering various fields in Ankara yesterday.

A Kuwaiti delegation headed by Prime Minister, Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, arrived in the Turkish capital on Wednesday on an official visit where he met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and handed him a letter from Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

The two sides signed a cooperation agreement in the field of youth, a memorandum of understanding between the National Fund for the Care and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kuwait and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation in Turkey.

The agreements signed also included a memorandum of understanding in the field of civil aviation, and communications and information technology.

The two sides have also signed a protocol of cooperation in the field of education and training for members of Turkey’s Gendarmerie General Command and the Kuwait National Guards.
