A Palestinian woman has given birth to conjoined female twins in Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources have announced.

The twins are conjoined at the abdomen and lower body, but each has a separate heart and lungs.

The doctors say they are pushing to transfer them to a hospital abroad where they will have a better chance of survival.
