Some 45 per cent of Egyptians are dissatisfied with the government’s general performance, a new poll has revealed.

Conducted by the Egyptian Centre for Public Opinion Research (Baseera), the survey found that respondents were mostly satisfied with the country’s foreign relations, security, food supply, mobile service and food commodities.

They were, however, less satisfied with social justice, health systems, street cleanliness, education sector, pollution levels, corruption and employment opportunities.

As part of the poll, 1,406 respondents were asked their thought on 29 areas which affect every day life.
