Iran equips army drones with smart bombs

The Iranian army has equipped its drones with smart and tactical bombs.

During air exercises carried out by the Iranian army in the city of Isfahan, the Iranian army’s drones could surprise the “supposed” enemy and destroy its defence systems, Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported.

A spokesman for the exercises, Major General Pilot Masoud Rouzkhosh said: “At this stage of the manoeuvre  teams specialised in modern warfare who were present in the manoeuvre were able to face the chemical unit of the enemy while other teams in the Iranian army used a number of systems to remove the state of pollution and face the enemy’s alleged chemical attack.”
