Hamas: Kuwait boycott conference ‘step to isolate occupation’

November 20, 2017 at 5:38 am

The Islamic Palestinian Movement Hamas hailed the conference on boycotting Israel held in Kuwait, noting it is a “step to isolate and expose the Israeli occupation,” Palestine Information Centre reported on Sunday.

Hamas Spokesman Izzat al-Reshiq said that it is a “strong message” to all of those who dream with normalising ties with the “rapacious entity” and those who want to “merge” it in “our” Arab and Islamic countries.

“At the time the leaders of the [Israeli] occupation thought that the regional circumstances are appropriate to penetrate the Gulf States, the conferment was held to slap the, and reinforce a fact that the [Arabs and Muslims] object normalisation with children killers,” he said.

He also said that boycotting the Israeli occupation and preventing normalisation with it is a “national responsibility” and a “humanitarian duty” requested from the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all the free people in the entire world.

Al-Reshiq hailed Kuwait for hosting the first such conference on boycotting the Israeli occupation, noting that this is the position which expresses the view of the Emir, the government and the people.

He also thanked the boycott movement in the Gulf States, which organised this conference, and thanked all the participants to took part in it.
