US President Donald Trump's decision on 6 December to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital triggered demonstrations around the world including in the Palestinian territories.

Since then, eight Palestinians were martyred during several protests and Israeli air campaigns against civilian positions in the Gaza city.

At least 535 people including 47 children were also injured and 14 ambulances were damaged by the Israeli gun fires, the Palestinian health ministry spokesperson Ashraf Al-Kudra told Anadolu Agency on Sunday.
