The five-million-US dollar grant includes, according to Al-Emadi, the project of “furnishing and supplying all necessary equipment and scientific laboratories for Al-Amal School in the Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani residential city in the southern of Gaza Strip.”

The Qatari ambassador added: “These projects have been implemented through several grants for more than half a billion US dollars, especially the grant of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani for the reconstruction of Gaza for worth 407 million US dollars.”

He continued: “The Qatari projects in the Strip carried out by Palestinian hands; either through engineers, construction companies, consulting offices, or workers.

Doha has already provided several financial grants to finance the purchase of fuel for running the power station and to support the health sector in Gaza.
