PA: Netanyahu is ‘stupid’

Spokesman of the Palestinian Authority (PA) government Yousef Al-Mahmoud described Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “stupid” after he said Tel Aviv is to maintain control of the occupied West Bank, Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported yesterday.

“All the Palestinian lands occupied in 1967, including the West Bank, will never be dominated by the occupation and the Palestinian people will continue fighting to end the occupation and regain their legitimate rights guaranteed by the international laws,” Al-Mahmoud said.

Israeli media had reported Netanyahu saying that Israel would maintain controlling of all areas west of the Jordan River for security reasons.

Al-Mahmoud went on to call Israeli attacks on Palestinian sites in the besieged Gaza Strip as a “new aggression” by the occupation.
