Egypt will not hold back on any effort to support Palestinian rights

Egyptian Ambassador to the UN Alaa Yousef said that his country would never hold back on any effort to support the rights of the Palestinians and their legitimate demands, Mesryoon.com reported yesterdya.

He also said that Egypt would continue its contribution to find a “just” and “comprehensive” solution for the conflict in the Middle East on the basis of the two-state solution and establishing the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Yousef highlighted the challenges facing Palestinians in the occupied territories and the Israeli violations of human rights in Jerusalem and the continuous Israeli settlement policies, demolishing of Palestinian homes, attempts to change the identity of Jerusalem and the detention of the Palestinians under very poor conditions.

He called on all international parties to come together and investigate the violations and hold those who committed them to account.
