Tunisia’s Ennahda condemns campaign of distortion

The Tunisian Ennahda parliamentary bloc has condemned what it called “the systematic campaign of distortion” targeting the movement and its leaders.

The bloc said in a statement published on Facebook that the “unfair” campaign led by some media outlets and on social media has affected it and its President Rashed Ghannouchi.

It stressed that such practices will only increase the movement’s steadfastness to support the people and the country’s interests.

Last week, Ghannouchi said that there are plotters working to abort the revolution in his country.

Tunis, he said, did not only launch a revolution, but also has maintained it until today.
