Dozens of Israeli settlers today attacked two Palestinians while they were inside a vehicle near the Zaatara checkpoint in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus.

According to the victims’ relative, Uqab Qanna, the men were driving home to Kafr Qalil village, when heavily armed Israeli settlers stopped the vehicle some 200 metres from the Zaatara checkpoint.

Qanna confirmed that after his relatives stopped the vehicle, the settlers began “brutally” kicking and beating them with guns and sticks, causing them severe injuries.

They went on to smash and destroyed parts of the vehicle before fleeing the area.
