The Head of the Movement of Society for Peace, Abderrazak Makri, demanded the Algerian government provide clarifications about the recent threats from the Libyan General Khalifa Haftar. Haftar accused Algerian soldiers of crossing Libyan-Algerian border.

Makri stated on his official Facebook page: “The UAE-Egypt-backed soldier Haftar felt no shame in threatening Algeria because of the entry of Algerian soldiers, according to him, to the Libyan territories.”

Makri described this as an unprecedented boldness from a man who handed over his country to foreign criminal powers that are corrupting the Arab countries.

Abderrazak Makri added that if Haftar had knowledge about political and diplomatic customs, and had valued and feared Algeria, he would not have shown his aggression.
