Israeli settler stabbed near illegal settlement: Media reports

An Israeli settler was killed in a stabbing attack allegedly carried out by a Palestinian teen near the settlement of Gush Etzion, Israeli media reported.

According to daily Israel Today, the Palestinian attacker was injured by the Israeli settler.

Gush Etzion is an Israeli settlement which was built on Palestinian land near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The nature of the injury of the young Palestinian is yet to be known.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the attacker is a 16-year-old from Yatta town of Hebron [Al-Khalil] in the southern West Bank.
