Egyptian Public Prosecution referred an officer and eight policemen to the criminal court for kicking a man to death, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported yesterday.

The suspects, the public prosecution said, also attacked one of the families living in an apartment inside the building.

According to the public prosecution, the owner of the building wanted the family to evacuate the apartment. No reason for the evacuation was provided.
