Saudi human rights activist Ahmad Bin Saad Al-Garni said on Monday that “Israel is attacking terrorists (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip.”

On Twitter Al-Garni prayed that God helps Israel as it attacks “the terrorist sites of Hamas”.

He added: “I hope that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will avoid attacking children, women and the elderly but destroy the houses over the heads of leaders of terrorist Hamas, which misrepresents the [Palestinian] cause.”

Al-Garni, who writes on his twitter biography that he is a member with Amnesty International, called on Netanyahu to “wipe the terrorist Hamas off the face of the Earth.”

Israel has been pummeling the Gaza Strip with airstrikes since Sunday night killing 14 Palestinians and injuring more than 35. The bombing destroyed a number of residential buildings and the headquarters of the Al-Aqsa satellite TV channel.
