Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Ziad Al-Nakhaleh, called on the Palestinian Authority to end its “hostile actions” against the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian resistance.

Speaking in Gaza City, Al-Nakhaleh praised the joint operations room of the Palestinian resistance factions and said the Palestinian people are planning a new history with their resistance.

Al-Nakhaleh stressed that the resistance forces’ unity is a major achievement that must be maintained, adding that the only enemy is Israel and its allies in the Arab world.

This comes as reports are circulating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to pay an official visit to Bahrain after making a similar visit to Oman in October while ministers from his government have attended conferences and international events in the UAE.
