Fatah denounced on Friday the US draft resolution to be proposed to the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in condemnation of Hamas.

Member of Fatah’s Central Committee Hussein Al-Sheikh said in a statement that “the US draft resolution, which condemns Hamas, to be proposed to the UNGA to is completely rejected”. He added the resolution “proves the complete American bias towards the Israeli occupation,” Anadolu reported.

Al-Sheikh called on UN member states “friendly” to Palestine to reject this “oppressive” resolution, which “equates the victim with the predator”.

The resolution condemns Hamas and its resistance, claiming it is part of a provocative policy and incitement of violence against Israel.

If accepted, the resolution would be the first of its kind to condemn Hamas and the Palestinian resistance.
