Al-Qasim: Abbas’ actions prove he is implementing ‘deal of the century’

Head of the representative committee of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad Anis Al-Qasim today accused Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas of implementing the US’ ‘deal of the century’ on the ground, Gaza Now reported.

“Abbas’ actions on the ground prove that he is implementing the ‘deal of the century’ step by step,” Al-Qasim, who lives in exile, said, noting he “is besieging Gaza and dividing the Palestinians.”

Replying to Abbas’ claims that he is fighting the long-awaited American plan, he said: “The one who fight against the ‘deal of the century’ has to bring the Palestinians together and does not cause sedition among the Palestinians.”

He added: “Abbas has to cease taking the Palestinian cause to hell. The PA, which is based in Ramallah, has killed the Palestinian cause.”

To find a solution for the dark situation, he said: “The PLO must be rebuilt and a new legitimate Palestinian leadership must be chosen to replace the current leadership, which has been illegitimate for ages.”
