A delegation of Turkish doctors has arrived in Gaza to carry out operations on Palestinians injured during the “Great March of Return”, Felesteen.ps reported today.

The delegation, from Doctors Worldwide Turkey, an independent charity, arrived in Gaza on Monday, programmes coordinator Ahmed Tsefek said.

According to Tsefek, the delegation will remain in Gaza for four days and carry out operations at Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the besieged Strip.

Tsefek said his organisation is currently thinking of opening an office in the occupied West Bank in order to offer its services to the Palestinian refugees in the refugee camps there.

The charity opened its Gaza office in 2015, where 31 employees have been working on different medical programmes.
