Fatah Secretary Shadi Mutwar – [Quds Press]

Israeli occupation forces yesterday released the Secretary of Fatah movement in Jerusalem Shadi Mutwar, Quds Press reported.

Speaking to the press, his brother Fadi said that the Israeli court refused an appeal filed by police against Shadi’s release.

Police failed to provide any true evidence against his brother, Fadi added.

He also said that the Israeli Central Court had released his brother on bail of 2,000 shekels ($560) in addition to holding his ID card and passport for one month; effectively banning him from travel.

Shadi was detained on 31 January at the Israeli-controlled Allenby Bridge crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, on his way back from a visit to refugee camps in Syria, along with secretaries of the Fatah movement in districts of the West Bank.
