Hamas stressed yesterday that the Palestinian resistance is following through with its right to defend its people against any Israeli aggression, spokesman Hazim Qasim said.

In a press release, Qasim said: “The Palestinian resistance will practice this right anytime the Palestinian people are subject to any aggression.”

He added: “Gaza will extract its right to freedom and dignity, as well as break the Israeli siege which has been in place for more than 12 years.”

Qasim hailed the unity among the Palestinian resistance groups, “which made them stronger in fighting the Israeli aggression on Gaza.”

At the same time, he hailed the popular support for the Palestinian resistance against the “Zionist Israeli occupation.”

Over the past two days, Israeli warplanes have carried out more than 50 strikes in the Gaza Strip that resulted in the complete destruction of 500 Palestinian homes.

The ministry of health said that 10 Palestinians were wounded in the Israeli attacks.
