The Spanish football club Real Madrid is currently in preliminary negotiations with the Egyptian Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, France’s Canal+ reported yesterday.

“Concerning Real Madrid and its reconstruction, after Hazard, Zinedine Zidane [Real Madrid coach] and Real want another big striker,” Canal+’s journalist Philippe Carayon said on TV, adding: “It is Mohamed Salah. This is, after Hazard, their other priority.”

“Real Madrid wants to build a super big trio of attack,” Carayon continued.

Salah won the Premier League’s golden boot award for the second season in succession with 22 goals in equal measure with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The global star is thought to be preparing for Europe’s Champions League final match with Tottenham Hotspur on 1 June.
