200 businessmen attend Pakistan-Turkey meeting

The Pakistan Ministry of Commerce hosted the Pakistan-Turkey Business to Business Networking Meeting during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Islamabad today, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

Turkey and Pakistan initiated the meeting to bring together businessmen from both countries to explore ways to enhance trade and investment, a press release issued by the Pakistan Ministry of Commerce said.

More than 200 prominent businessmen from sectors including engineering, energy, tourism, construction, defence, automotive, chemicals and information technology (IT.were hosted during the business meeting.

Advisor to Pakistani Minister for Commerce, Industry and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood yesterday said that Erdogan’s trip to Pakistan is of more important to the country than the previous ones as the bilateral economic ties have gone to a higher level, Anadolu reported.
