PA: US deal of the century caused settler ‘terror’ to multiply

Palestinian Authority (PA) said yesterday that the US’ so called “deal of the century” led to illegal Israeli settlers increasing their “terror” and incited against Palestinians and encouraged them to “steal” more Palestinian land.

In a statement issued by the PA’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the government condemned settler “terror”, blaming the Israeli government and the Trump administration for it.

The PA warned of “campaigns by settlers aiming to seize Palestinian lands south and south-west of Nablus and create a huge settlement there which will separate the north of the West Bank from its middle and the south.”

These actions, the statement said, damage the farms of the Palestinians and destroy their property, noting that all of this is being carried out under the Israeli and American political protection “and this is covered by the terms of the deal of the century”.
