Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) yesterday announced the arrest of 207 citizens and expatriates on various charges including bribery, abuse of power, and forgery, Anadolu reported.

Nazaha said in a statement posted on Twitter that the detainees included employees in the ministries of defence, interior, national guard, health, justice, municipal and rural affairs, housing, environment, water and agriculture, education, trade, human resources, and media.

According to the statement, they were detained last month.

In March, Nazaha announced the arrest of 241 citizens and expatriates, including employees of five ministries for their alleged involvement in corruption.
