Turkey completes evacuation of soldiers from Afghanistan

The Turkish Ministry of Defence has announced the completion of evacuating its soldiers from Afghanistan, after 20 years of successfully performing duties there.

On Friday, the Ministry of Defence welcomed via Twitter the Turkish soldiers who returned to their homeland.

The Turkish Ministry of Defence announced the start of the evacuation process of its armed forces from Afghanistan on Wednesday, after evaluating the current situation.

The ministry disclosed in a statement that the Turkish military personnel proudly returned home after successfully completing the task entrusted to them.
