Uruguay-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Committee is established

Uruguayan parliamentarians who founded the Uruguayan-Palestinian Friendship Committee [Sandra Lazo]

The Parliamentary Friendship Committee between Uruguay and Palestine was established in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo, last week.

The committee aims to mobilise popular and official support in Uruguay and Latin America to serve the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people in all their places of existence. It was established during the Latin Palestine Forum.

The committee includes Senator Sandra Lazo, who recently returned from the Turkish capital, Ankara, after participating in the fourth conference of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds.

The committee also includes deputies AITA (Broad Front) Nicolas Viera (Broad Front) Senator Amin Nifouri (National Party), deputies Perrone (Open Council), Pablo Lanz (Colorado Party), Cesar Díaz (PERI) In addition, the presidents of the Senate International Affairs Committee Eduardo Bonomi (Broad Front) and Deputy Daniel Cagiani (Broad Front).
