The 31-year-old footballer moved to the Saudi club from Paris Saint-Germain FC. According to Al-Arabia news site he signed a two-year contract.
Neymar has already started to adopt aspects of Saudi culture, and participated in the 93rd Saudi National Day celebrations. He wore traditional Saudi costume in a video clip posted by Al-Hilal on X, and danced the well-known Ardha to popular tunes. The Brazilian appears to be very relaxed and comfortable in the company of his teammates at the football club.
Since Neymar moved to Saudi Arabia, his mother has attracted attention by wearing the traditional niqab, showing her interest in Arab culture, riding camels and drinking Arabic coffee, as well as wearing large jewellery bearing Arabic characters.
