Vibrant central Gaza shopping district lies in ruins after Israeli bombing

MEMO's Mohammed Asad captures the aftermath of Israel's destruction of Palestine Tower, the first high rise to be targeted by Israeli warplanes in Gaza on Saturday. The 12-storey building, which consisted of dozens of residential flats as well as press and commercial offices, was located in a major shopping district in the centre of Gaza City.
