Zionist groups are calling on a hotel in Texas to cancel a conference calling for freedom and equality for the Palestinian people.
The Zionist lobby in America has called on a hotel chain to cancel the planned event, due to take place on 27-29 October in Houstan, Texas.
According to the three-day conference programme for “Seize the Moment”, organised by the US Campaign for Palestine Right (USCPR), the conference will feature a panel of speakers, workshops and gatherings to discuss how to advocate and push Congress to end US funding of Israel’s occupation.
In what has become a regular accusation spread by the Zionist lobby, speakers at the conference have been labelled anti-Semitic as result of their anti-colonial, anti-occupation activism.
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, news anchor Marc Lamont Hill and Palestinian journalist Mariam Barghouti are among the speakers expected at the event.
