Gaza plunges into darkness as Israel refuses to allow fuel in

Israel has bombarded the Gaza Strip, home to about 2.3 million people, with air strikes since 7 October 2023. Now the enclave is without power as Israel continues its full blockade on fuel and electricity getting into the Strip. Hospitals have warned that premature babies will die if their life support machines switch off.
