US actor Alec Baldwin refuses to condemn Israel and verbally confronts pro-Palestine protesters in New York

Actor Alec Baldwin refused to condemn Israel when asked by a pro-Palestine protester during a march in New York, resulting in a heated exchange where the actor shouted obscenities at the protester.

Actor Alec Baldwin encountered a pro-Palestinian protest in New York City on Monday, and a video captured a tense confrontation between him and a protester during which he refused to condemn Israel, eventually leading to the New York Police Department (NYPD) escorting him away from the crowds.

In the footage, Baldwin can be seen engaged in a discussion with two or three protesters, with one questioning his stance, asking: “Who’s pockets are you in? You work for Hollywood; do you condemn Israel?”

Baldwin responded: “You’ve already made up your mind to every question you’ve got, right? I’m in Hollywood’s pockets, you said? You ask stupid questions. Ask me a smart question! Ask a smart question!” He then advanced towards the protester.

With several police officers intervening, the protester shouted, “Go f*** yourself.”

The protests took place in Manhattan at Grand Central Station and Penn Station as part of a protest called a “Global Strike for Gaza.”
