UN diplomats exit in protest as Israeli ambassador addresses Security Council

A substantial number of diplomats staged a walkout from a UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday, 23 January, as Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, began his address. The collective exit served as a protest against Israel’s ongoing actions in Gaza.
