'It is not Tel Aviv': Egyptian rapper busts a beat for Palestine

Egyptian rapper Ganainy’s song ‘Land of Canaan’ offers a historical view into the indigenous Palestinian towns and villages as an assertion of the Palestinian roots to the land before the establishment of the Israeli state in 1948. It was released after Israel launched an all-out war on besieged Gaza in October 2023.
