Simon Harris says Israel’s actions in Gaza ‘appalling and grotesque'

Irish Taoiseach-designate Simon Harris says the actions of the Israeli government are ‘utterly reprehensible’ and that Ireland will always ‘speak truth to power’. ‘We're seeing children being maimed and killed, innocent children. It is disgusting, it is despicable and it must stop,’ said the incoming Irish Prime Minister, saying his country is ready to play a part in a political process that would bring about a two-state solution.
