Northern Ireland first minister: Gaza genocide needs to stop

The First Minister of Northern Ireland Michelle O'Neill attended the national march in London today in solidarity with Palestinians, saying what is happening in Gaza is 'genocide' which 'needs to stop.' She also called on the suspension of arms sales to Israel. Last month, O'Neill raised 'grave concerns' over the situation in Palestine during a meeting with US President Joe Biden on St Patrick’s Day. When asked about the UK government's stance on Israel, she said that the British government 'must stop arming Israel.'
