Settlers burned large areas of land in the village of Al-Fandakumiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank on Wednesday evening.

Eyewitnesses at the scene shared: “Settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, attacked the outskirts of the village of Al-Fandakumiya and burned large areas of land.”

The occupation forces fired bullets and tear gas bombs at the Palestinians and their homes in the village, causing a number of them to suffocate as a result of inhaling the poisonous gas.

Settlers also attacked the village of Yasuf, east of the city of Salfit, in the northern West Bank, setting alight Palestinian property.

The areas of the occupied West Bank are witnessing continuous invasions by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces, in addition to confrontations between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation army, resulting in the arrests of thousands and the deaths of hundreds of martyrs. This coincides with the devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them women and children.
