Houthis: Any waterway used by Israel will be targeted

Yemen’s Houthi group will not hesitate to target any waterway facilitating access for Israel, a member of the group’s political bureau has said.

In a comment to Al-Resalah Net, Hazem Al-Asad said: “Those who disregard Arab solidarity while blood is spilt in Gaza and Lebanon cannot expect us to respect their Arab or Islamic ties.”

“This is history being written; between honour and disgrace; for whoever decides to side with betrayal, we as peoples and resistance have decided to side with our history, present, future and our Arab identity,” he added.

He called on Arab states to reconsider their stance, noting: “They have all taken roles in support of this entity, aligning with it and thus laying in the grip of an occupier that has expansionist ambitions towards every Arab state.”
