Erdogan visits Kyrgyzstan for partnership

Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye agreed on a strategic partnership during a visit of Turkiye’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Kyrgyzstan this week, AFP reports.

According to the report, President Erdogan held top-level meetings during his visit with Kyrgyzstan’s President, Sadyr Japarov, discussing the potential of boosting two-way trade and investment.

The leaders sought opportunities for enterprise cooperation and the enhancement of a healthy business climate for economic growth, the report added.

Both sides also discussed cultural and educational exchanges and joint projects between the Turkish and Kyrgyz peoples, such as student and academic exchanges and educational programmes.

With his recent visit to Kyrgyzstan, President Erdogan has shown his and his country’s commitment to increasing the strength of the relationship between the two nations, and promised further cooperation that could benefit the entire region.
