A law banning breathing

Very soon, Israel will pass a law that will ban the Palestinian people from breathing, after a long list of laws implemented during the rule of the fascist Netanyahu government. After a year of bloodshed, this government is still finding ways to get even more revenge on the Palestinian people. How could it not when the entire world has failed to control Netanyahu and stop the continuous bloodbaths that his army is committing morning and night in Palestine and the region.

Whenever the world says that the war must end, Netanyahu finds an excuse to continue the flow of his lava, fire, weapons and bullets on the Palestinian people, armed with the support of Uncle Sam, who colluded, was negligent, complicit and conspired against the Palestinian people. It did so through a deep-rooted Zionist choir that occupied the White House, spreading lies, deception, procrastination and delay to provide the necessary time and cover for war, destruction, annihilation and devastation in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon and elsewhere.

America, which talks about its support for the two-state solution every morning, uses its veto in the evening against any UN Security Council resolution to establish a Palestinian state. America, which said it imposed sanctions on the settlers, later went back to providing them with rifles and sniper weapons. America, which said it opposes settlements, has turned a blind eye to the entire settlement project. America, which came up with a formula for a ceasefire in Gaza last July, withdrew its proposal after Netanyahu rejected it under flimsy pretexts and fabrications. America is the one that previously said that it would reopen its consulate in East Jerusalem, and the PLO office in Washington, as well as resume its support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). It said, and said, and said… but the result remained nothing: it did not reopen the consulate, nor did it allow the PLO office to resume its work, nor did it revive the UNRWA that is being destroyed today before its eyes.

OPINION: By criminalising UNRWA, Israel is delegitimising the United Nations

It has not lifted a finger to remedy this except for voicing empty positions. America is the one in whose name US Vice President Kamala Harris stood to present her six no’s, saying: No to reoccupying the Gaza Strip, no to taking parts of it, no to keeping the Israeli army there, no to Israeli rule over it, no to displacing its population, and no rule other than that of the Palestinians themselves, through the Palestinian Authority. However, the complete opposite has and is happening on the ground. America is the one that provided the ammunition for war and fire, the one whose factories did not stop covering Israel’s need for that ammunition, and the one that is supplying Israel with the THAAD antimissile system that joined the Iron Dome.

All this gave Netanyahu the feeling that he could continue his wars and impulsive behaviour, so much so that a few days ago, the US approved the deployment of more destructive B-52 bombers and a number of aircraft carriers, in addition to strengthening a number of its fleets. Such an atmosphere further convinced Netanyahu of his ability to continue the systematic killing of Palestinians, unleash the settlers, confiscate more land, build more settlements, and ration the daily needs for Palestinians – such as food and water, increase military checkpoints, increase the frequency of the raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevent Christian worshippers from getting to their churches. This is in addition to the non-stop arrest of Palestinians by raiding cities and camps, some of which were bombed, targeting activists, destroying infrastructure in various locations, and confiscating money under a variety of pretexts.

The ugliness of the occupation targeting people, stones and trees coincides with the arrest of more prisoners and imposing a policy of slow death on them, including the atrocities and tragedies committed against them, reaching the point of raping them, starving them and depriving them of the simplest necessities of life, including medical care, food and treatment. This situation encouraged the Zionist Knesset to pass a set of racist laws, the latest of which was the law banning UNRWA agencies from operating in Israel and the law cracking down on education, curriculum and national studies in Arab schools.

In light of all this, it would not be strange at all for a law to be issued, within the framework of the public and explicit effort to displace the Palestinians, banning Palestinians from breathing! Is Israel besieging the oxygen of the Palestinians, or is it besieging the oxygen of the Zionist occupation? We will wait and see.
