Israeli bulldozers yesterday demolished a mosque and several structures in the Arab Al-Ara’ara community near the town of Jaba, east of occupied Jerusalem, Quds Press reported.

Local sources said bulldozers demolished the mosque, an abandoned house, a guesthouse and a sheep pens. The sources specified that five sheep pens and a home, which had been abandoned since the 1960s, were among the structures destroyed.

They added that over 80 families from the Jahalin Bedouin tribe reside in the area. Israeli forces also marked several structures with red paint, seemingly in preparation for further demolitions.
