The Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted two locations in Israel, one in central and the other in the northern parts of the country, using drone strikes, Sama reported.
“Continuing our approach to resisting occupation, supporting our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the occupying entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, on Wednesday, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a location in central occupied lands using drones,” the Islamic Resistance said in a statement.
It added in a separate statement that “the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq also targeted a vital location in northern occupied lands with drones.”
The Islamic Resistance affirmed that its operations would continue with increasing momentum.
On Tuesday, the Islamic Resistance announced that it had launched a drone strike against a military target in southern Israel.
Iraqi resistance factions have intermittently claimed responsibility for attacks on US bases in Syria and Iraq, citing them as retaliation for the Israeli military’s actions in the Gaza Strip.
