Hamas yesterday condemned what it described as a “criminal bombing” carried out by Israeli occupation forces on Al-Hurriya School, in the south-eastern part of Gaza City, which serves as a shelter for hundreds of displaced Palestinians. At least 11 people were killed and dozens were injured in the strike.
In a statement, Hamas declared that this incident constitutes “a new crime and further evidence of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
The statement added that the attack represents “a blatant disregard for all international organisations and humanitarian law.”
Hamas called on the international community and its institutions to “act urgently to stop this ongoing extermination.” It also demanded swift action to “bring Israeli war criminals to justice, foremost among them Netanyahu, the leader of the neo-Nazis,” in reference to the Israeli prime minister.
